Wayne A. Lawson, Ph.D. - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Lawson is a strategic team builder who brings 20+ years of corporate experience working with a wide range of companies. He brings invaluable knowledge and experience to the success of the MBECC and provides solid business solutions to clients. He has developed strong relationships with minority and small businesses throughout the Nation. He is a former Business Development Specialist with the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OSBDC), and served as Project Director of the former Oklahoma City Minority Business Enterprise Center (OKCMBEC) at Langston University.
Dr. Lawson has a proven track record of success. He earned a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Management and completed the coursework for the PhD in Organization and Management, with a specialization in Leadership.

Michelle D. Lawson, B.S. - Chief Information Officer
Mrs. Lawson brings key research skills to the Minority Business Enterprise and Consultant Center. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education (M. Ed) degree. She brings invaluable knowledge of community demographics with viable human resources. Having served on various boards of directors throughout the state of Oklahoma, she gained knowledge of funding sources and various avenues for businesses to successfully partner with communities. She brings experience and leadership to the information arm of MBECC.
Mrs. Lawson has been trained and certified in Crisis Intervention to ensure smooth transitions during crisis and emergencies that can affect day-to-day operation of a business. |

Charlene J. Lawson - Chief Operations Off icer
Ms. Lawson is retired from the Department of Defense (DOD). As a Logistics Management Specialist, she was instrumental in redesigning the Army Invitation for Bid (IFB) process, Maintained the National Workload Process, Integration of policies and procedures, Initiated and reviewed Scope of Works (SOW), cost mapping, and executed supply programs and procurements. She attended meetings with the Department of the Army (DA), Department of Defense (DOD), U. S. Army Material Command (AMC), Army War Reserve, National Guard and Members of Congress.
Ms. Lawson brings 25+ years of invaluable expertise and knowledge of the supply and procurement processes to the success of MBECC. |
Frank W. Lawson, MBA - Director, Contract Administration
Mr. Lawson retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service in the grade of Major. He worked his way up through the ranks and fully understands leadership and team work at the subordinate and superior level. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and received his MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University with areas of concentration in Finance and Management. In addition he recently retired from the MITRE Corporation, a leading edge Defense Contractor after thirty years of service. As a Facilities Engineer, he brings a wealth of experience to MBECC in systems engineering, project management, industrial security, personnel and leadership. |

Rudolph M. Blue, B.S. - Senior Project Manager
Mr. Blue serves as the Senior Project Director with responsibility of over-seeing the various projects that have been awarded to the MBECC. He travels extensively and brings a level of expertise required to manage the various projects that are located from coast-to-coast. He is a retired Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer and brings Twenty (20) plus years experience in information management in USAF. He served as supervisor of administration in the contracting division of Rome Laboratory (USAF); supervisor of administration of Intelligence Division (NATO). He brings to MBECC expertise in coordinating work activities of a multi-disciplinary team with proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving in office and program administration. He has proficiency in case management in the States of Tennessee and Florida.

Cory N. Lawson - Business Consultant
Mr. Cory N. Lawson brings a keen understanding and invaluable determination to MBECC. He is currently a Business Major at Rose State College in Midwest City. Having received an Omega Psi Phi award for leadership Mr. Lawson embodies the kind of tenacity that MBECC has worked hard to establish.
Having been with MBECC for a year, Mr. Lawson had procured various contracts and helped the business secure federal bids.

Francine E. Lawson - Business Consultant
Ms. Francine E. Lawson brings to the work place a perspective from the vendor's side of the house. She understands the inner workings of the retail and manufacturing business. She carefully evaluates all parameters and has closed deals which saved her and the family substantially over the years.
She brings those same skills to MBECC. She is also a published author attesting to her outstanding writing skills. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and ensures that the courses she takes are an asset to MBECC.
She is a fast learner, an excellent speaker and extremely professional business consultant. |
Stephanie C. Weeden - Administration
Ms. Weeden has a vast knowledge of micro-computer systems, as well as an excellent phone etiquette. She effectivly handles the administrative process of the business.
