Wayne A. Lawson, Ph. D.  -  CEO/President
                                                                                                                                                                                   

Wayne.jpgDr. Lawson is a strategic team builder who brings 20+ years of corporate experience working with a wide range of companies.  He brings invaluable knowledge and experience to the MBECC and provides solid business solutions to clients.  He has developed strong relationships with minority businesses throughout the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states.  He is a former Business Development Specialist with the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OSBDC).  He was also the Project Director of the former Oklahoma City Minority Business Enterprise Center (OKCMBEC). 

Dr. Lawson has a proven track record of success.  He earned a Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees in Management and completed the coursework for the PhD  in Organization and Management.

Mrs. Lawson brings administrative skills to the Minority Business Enterprise and Consultant Center.  She is currently pursuing a Master of Education (M. Ed) degree.  She brings invaluable knowledge of community demographics with viable human resources.  Having served on various board of directors throughout the state of Oklahoma, she gained knowledge of funding sources and various avenues for business to partner with communities.  She brings experience and leadership to the Marketing and Website design staff.

She also has been trained and certified in Crisis Intervention to ensure smooth transitions during crisis and emergencies.

Ms. Lawson is retired from the Department of Defense (DOD).  As a Logistics Management Specialist, she was instrumental in redesigning the Army Invitation for Bid (IFB)  process, Maintained the National Workload Process, Integration of policies and procedures, Initiated and reviewed Scope of Works (SOW), cost mapping,  and executed supply programs and procurements.  She attended meetings with the Department of the Army (DA), Department of Defense (DOD), U. S. Army Material Command(AMC), Army War Reserve, National Guard and Members of Congress. 
She brings 25+ years of expertise and knowledge of the supply and procurement process.  

                                                                                   
                                                                Anna B. Bush, BS  - Senior Consultant


anna.2.jpgMs. Anna Bush is a native of Oklahoma . Her roots were formed and are still deeply planted on  the family farm sitting on the North Shore of  Lake Eufaula. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Langston University with a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management. She is currently undertaking course work aimed at earning her MBA degree and a Minor in Supply Chain Management.  Ms. Bush brings to MBECC over 35 years of experience in the business of Real Estate Investment, Property Rental, and Government Rental Assistance.  In her past experience she also holds the distinct honor of being the first minority to be promoted to the position of Assistant Cashier and becoming a Supervisor and Bank Officer at a major bank in Oklahoma City .
