Building a Professional Image
Program
Overview
Unfair as it may be, we judge others--and
in turn are judged--by appearance. The good news is that this is one area of our lives where we can take the wheel and make
significant changes that will positively impact our careers. This fast-paced, lively course offers participants sound advice
and simple steps they can take to immediately transform their professional image without a fairy godmother or magic potion.
If there’s a Sloppy, Sleazy, Frumpy, or Dopey in your workplace who needs a style makeover, this program will serve
them well.
Program Objectives
At the program’s conclusion, participants should be able to:
- Explain how having a professional appearance can boost the chance for workplace success and how not having it can
lead to disaster.
- Understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate business attire.
- Know the components of traditional business dress for men and women.
- Define “business
casual” dress as the term applies to their workplace.
- Know their individual body shapes for the purpose of selecting
clothes and accessories that are complementary as well as professional.

considerations that are part of a professional presence.

Stepping Stones To Diversity in the Workplace
Workshop consists of a series
of incremental activities that helps participants to:
- Celebrate their similarities and differences,
- Recognize the misinformation they have learned about various groups, including their own,
- Learn about and reevaluate personal attitudes and behaviors that are based on the impact of prejudice and discrimination,
- Claim pride in their group identities,
- Understand the personal impact of discrimination through the telling
of stories, and
- Learn hands-on tools for dealing effectively with offensive remarks and behaviors.
Got Retirement?
This workshop is for everyone considering retirement within the next 5-6 years. Spouses
and partners are welcome. Everything you wanted to know and were afraid to ask about retirement. No questions
will be refused! We will work with your Human Resource Department on the specifics in an attempt to address
the needs of your retiring employees. The goal of our workshop is to inform and discuss how to prepare for retirement and put all of
the pieces together for a full and secure retirement. Though this workshop we will be discussing not only the financial,
but also the psychological meaning of retirement. We will attempt to paint a picture in the minds of each participant,
what the rest of their lives are going to look like.
Team Building
Program Overview
In order to become a successful business, Team Building
is a critical factor to making your business more than just productive. There are crucial and effective goals required
to making a team not just work together but become as effective as possible. This course will highlight the benefits
in taking affirmative steps to draw, build and maintain employees who are diverse.
